Black Man in America Short Film

“Black Man in America” is a two-minute dance film, about Black people’s joy and perseverance. The soundtrack to the film will be excerpts from “Black Man in America” written by Johnny Hobbes.
THE ROLE: This opportunity is to audition to perform as one of the “Kids with Parents” (ages 6-11) that are the younger versions of the 5-6 main, Black male dancers. The acting will involve playing freely and being afraid.
EXPOSURE:
The film will be distributed on Blavity (160,000 Likes on Facebook) and producers plan to distribute the film on HuffPost Black Voices, and other digital media outlets representing young Black voices.
