We are currently casting roles for the first three episodes of a webseries based on Rick Riordan’s Percy Jackson books. For those of you who haven’t read the books, the series follows a 12-year-old boy named Percy Jackson, the demigod son of Poseidon, and his friends from Camp Half-Blood. A few roles have already been cast, but there are many more that still need to be filled. If you don’t see a role that fits you, make sure to check out our first two casting calls. We will also be posting another casting call for extras and we will (hopefully) be posting more casting calls for lead roles if the first three episodes are successful. We are hoping to cast actors who live in New England, but out-of-state auditions are still welcome. All actors must have reliable transportation to and from auditions, table reads, character photography sessions, and filming locations.

Main Roles:

Note: Eye color and hair color are not as important, so feel free to submit for a character even if you have a different eye or hair color. But, actors with the correct eye and hair color will be given priority. Also, the age range is not exact. If you do not fit in the listed age range but feel like you would be a good fit for the character, you will still be considered. Also, this is a very low budget production, and it would never be able to happen if we don’t get help from the actors. It would help us a lot if you could pay for most of your own props. The purchases needed for each character are listed under the character description. The purchases will be kept with the rest of the props and will be brought to set by the producers (except for clothing items). If the prices are too much, you can still submit. We are willing to work out pricing with you. We apologize for asking for you to help pay, but again, this could never happen without your help.

Jake Mason:

Jake is one of Percy’s friends at Camp Half-Blood. He does what he is told, and is a very caring person. He is always looking out for his friends.

Silena Buereguard:

Silena, daughter of Aphrodite, is also one of Percy’s friends at Camp Half-Blood. Unlike other daughters of Aphrodite, she is not completely self-absorbed. She is very kind, and is one of the only people who can get along with Clarisse.

Will Solace:

Chris Rodriguez:

Michael, son of Apollo, is one of Percy’s friends at Camp Half-Blood. He is the head of the Apollo cabin and helps Percy fight the Battle of Manhattan.

Grover, a satyr, is Percy’s best friend and protector. He is responsible for getting Percy to camp safely, but fails when Percy’s mom is taken by the Minotaur. Grover often accompanies Percy on his quests to save the world.

Luke Castellan:

Clarisse, daughter of Ares, is a very angry person and is constantly looking for a fight. She hates Percy from the very beginning, but she does have a nice side to her.

Charles Beckendorf:

More Information:

• Filming will start in March 2017 on Fridays, weekends, and school vacations
• Before we film each episode, we will meet on a Friday or weekend to read through the script
• Some episodes require sword fighting. For those episodes, we will choreograph the fight scenes on the same day as the script read-through
• If we decide to continue the series, filming will continue throughout the summer and possibly early fall. Also, if we continue past the first three episodes, we hope to create at least two more seasons. Season 2 will be filmed in March 2018 and Season 3 in March 2019
• Character photography will take place on one weekend in February or March. If we continue with the series, we will have more photography sessions on various weekends throughout filming
• We will try our best to work around actors’ schedules, but you will need to have mostly open availability
• Actors will be in charge of getting their own transportation, unless we travel outside of New England
• Note: This series is being produced by high school students. We will not be using the best quality equipment

Audition Information:
Please submit with your name, headshot and full body shot (these do not need to be professional), resume (if you have one), age, the state you live in, and the best way to contact you (email address, phone number, etc.) Use the part you are auditioning for in the subject line. Feel free to ask any questions. When we get your email, we will send you sides. Please record a video of yourself. Videos taken on cell phones are acceptable. We will review all of the submissions and contact you if we want you to move on to the second round of auditions, which will be an in-person audition in Massachusetts. If we don’t think you are a good fit for the role, we will still consider you for other roles. We don’t have the exact date and location for auditions yet, but we will let you know if you are selected.

Extras Roles:

Clarisse’s friends are daughters of Ares. They follow Clarisse around and always support her, no matter what the situation. Clarisse’s friends are rude and snobby, and are always looking for a fight.
