Looking for a little person (dwarf) who is an actor NOT an entertainer. Previous acting experience, preferably theatre, a must.
40-50 CAUCASIAN male, small person/dwarf to play the role of a former college professor turned roue with a great sense of humor, larger-than-life personality. Must be able to do a Dutch accent.
This is a staged reading of a new play that will be going into production for an Off Broadway venue next year. Commitment includes three rehearsals in addition to the performance date. Pay is $100 plus reasonable travel expenses. AEA approved. Dates available upon request.
Synopsis: When Richard and Dick–both once married to the same woman who have become best friends following the breakup of the former’s marriage –are confronted with a surprise visit from their ex on the day of Richard’s daughter’s wedding, chaos ensues and is especially heightened by the arrival of her new boyfriend (played by the actor for whom we are casting this role).
