“The Opposite of Cleveland” is a feature-length, romantic comedy, written and directed by Dan Chaimowitz, screenwriting instructor at the University of Southern Maine.

Roles:

Brenna: (late 20s to early 30s, but needs to “play” 30) Brenna is a smart, independent, triage nurse at a Portland hospital, whose pending 30th birthday has her triaging her personal life.

Amy: Brenna’s roommate and friend from college, similar age, but not quite ready to settle down.

 

Very much open to non-professional individuals who have screen presence and who are fearless in front of a camera.

Mostly scripted, with some improvisational opportunities.

Shooting late spring and summer 2017. Willing to work around individual employment schedules; weekends, evenings, etc. However, being available July10-13th is non-negotiable, for a specific location has been locked-down and paid for.
