Host for “On the Spot” podcast series

360 Arts Blvd is in search of hosts for our series “On the Spot”, our podcast/web series highlighting creative entrepreneurs and their stories. Each cycle we speak to four (4) unique creative artists and entrepreneurs who offer their insight through real-life experiences and life lessons learned. We love to spotlight dynamic, creative storytellers and support their current and upcoming projects.
Hosts must have a willingness to work as part of a small team and take on new tasks as needed. The work involved would be split roughly evenly between all hosts:
Researching guests prior to the interviews by reading articles, books or papers the guest has written for the purpose of asking smart questions related to the topic
Collecting and combining questions from the online community
Conducting or co-conducting recorded interviews, videos, and live webinars
Writing the scripted portions of the podcast.
Recording the scripted and unscripted portions of the podcast
Promoting each podcast episode on social media.
Here is what you will need:
A keen interest in listening to the stories of creative artists and entrepreneurs;
Some computer skills, preferably with a DAW like Audacity or Reaper;
Ability to write reasonably well in English;
Ability to speak clearly in English;
A computer
A decent microphone with a pop filter, a pair of headphones, and a broadband internet connection
A few hours a month
Please record a mock interview for your submission. Your audition should last roughly 10 minutes in length. The clip should include the following:
A spoken intro
An introduction of your special guest
A short back and forth with the guest
A spoken outro closing down the podcast.
