Casting in Toronto For Student Film “Family Biz”

By | March 3, 2017

The Family Biz

Location: Toronto

Type: Student Films

Hey everyone! My crew and I are working on a student film project right now about internalized racism within black families. Our story is about a young man named Jevon who struggles to find a job outside the family business while his ill mother, Elaine, and stepfather, Lemar, discourage him; not because they do not love him but because they’ve internalized the societal standard. We would be most appreciated if some of you may be interested! Our crew are looking for a Black male actor aged 50-60, and a Black female actress aged late 45-60, to appear in our film.

If you or someone you know would be interested in playing the role of LEMAR and ELAINE, give us a shout! We will begin shooting very soon. Also we will provide food and reimburse the actors’ travel expenses for the shoot. Thanks!

Payment: Non Paid
copy/credit, travel expanses will be reimbursed, food provided at the shoot
