The film chronicles naïve yet good natured Todd and his complicated relationship with his punk best friend, Zane. For starters, Zane is an imaginary friend. They are working on completing a bucket list, until Todd meets Mikey, falls in love, and starts spending less time with Zane. Zane doesn’t take this lightly and begins sabotaging the budding relationship.
The film is experimental in form yet traditional in narrative, creating a dynamic, fresh take on the classic coming-of-age thematic territory. Basically, think a classic love story mixed with Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
We’re looking for a talented, middle aged voice actor to play the role of Dad, Todd’s father and emotional conflict in the film. We’re searching for an actor with the capacity to convey subtlety, vulnerability, and remorse.
