World premiere of The Snow Queen, a fairy tale parody

AUDITIONS FOR THE SNOW QUEEN
Clock Productions is casting for CJ Chapman’s world premiere of The Snow Queen, a fairy tale parody loosely associated with the season of nonsense and snow. Seeking 7 or so actors who will play upwards of 20 characters including a politically divisive devil, a sensual older icy enchantress, a couple of clueless teenagers and Gristle (the devil’s personal assistant).
Rehearsals will begin in early October. Performances will be Nov 30th, Dec 2nd, 3rd, 7th, 9th, 10th, 16th and 17th at Pride Arts Center’s The Broadway Theatre (4139 N Broadway). There is a stipend.
General auditions will be on Saturday September 9th from 9:30am – 12:30pm. Please come prepared with a comedic monologue.
Callbacks will be on Sunday September 10th from 2:30pm – 5:30pm. We will read sides from the script. Be prepared to move.
Both will be held at Steep Theatre (1115 W Berwyn Ave).
