Divorcees Mary and Jo are suspicious of their friend Liz’s new dentist boyfriend in this hilarious new comedy! He may look a bit creepy, but is there really anything to worry about? The fact that his oral hygienist was recently murdered could be just a … coincidence. Imaginations run wild as the pair trade their wine glasses for spy glasses and set off on a hilarious off-road adventure to learn the truth. This romp from The House of Yes playwright Wendy MacLeod brings with it some serious Thelma and Louise-meets-The First Wives Club fun.
AUDITION REQUIREMENTS:
Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script (however you may choose to perform a 2-minute comedic monologue if you prefer).
Please bring a current headshot and resume if you have them. Please also know any conflicts you may have through July 6.

Mary: Female, 40’s – 50’s
divorced, a librarian, motherly; She has taste, is fairly sophisticated.
Jo: Female, 40’s – 50’s
divorced, Mary’s best friend, a publicist, sardonic. More cynical than Mary. Jaded.
Liz: Female, 40’s – 50’s
divorced, Mary’s other best friend, boy-crazy, a bit of a drama queen. Ditzy.
Amanda: 18-25
Liz’s daughter, college student whose SAT scores were in the single digits.
Trenner: 18-25
a snowboarder, Amanda’s ex-boyfriend, sweet but not too bright.
Jackson: 40’s – 60’s
a dentist, Liz’s new boyfriend, creepy, given to strange pronouncements about death and disease, he may or may not look like Christopher Walken.
Sgt. Kirk Sponsullar: Male, 40’s – 60’s
same actor as Jackson, a police sergeant, courtly, a man of few or entirely obfuscated words.
