My name is Pablo Velho. I am a passionate filmmaker from Santa Catarina State, Brazil, found out that having an artistic outlet was the perfect way for me to express my thought, visions and imaginations.
I spent over 10 years working as Casting Director for TV and Film Productions companies in Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Curitiba and Florianopolis cities in Brazil, as for clients such as: Pfizer, Yakult, Coca-Cola, Renault, etc.

I am working in a project to be submitted to film festivals. This is a non-union, no budget production. We will all be working towards to improve our own portfolios. Arrangements will be made for the perfect cast. I am still working on the script.
JUDITH 50+ teacher a few years from retirement living in a cottage with her husband. She was sent by her parents to live with another family because they didn’t have money to feed all of them. She was never a mother, but she nurtures the mother characteristics because she cares about people. She is almost naive sometimes and maybe people have taken advantage of her. She has never seen her sister since the day her left. But now she receives a letter (maybe an email) from her sister after years without communication. Judith travels to see Sofia and something happen!
SOFIA, 50+ she has the same attitude as she when she she was 21. She has never grown. She still goes out to the pubs, where she loves to drink beer and martinis. Sometimes doing some drugs in the bathroom with her “friends”, usually men. Alcoholic and troublemaker. Sofia finds out she has cancer and she decides to reconnect with her sister before dying. Judith arrives in Sofia’s house.
I am also looking for all actors age. We can all work together to create a script and shoot. I am taking classes at Miami Dade College and I am taking advantage of being able to use their equipment and knowledge.
Hopefully we will have a great material where we can submit to film festivals.
