“Drive” – a short film based off the the collected work of poet Hettie Jones, part of the Visual Poetry Project (VPP). The film presents a lyrical, collective portrait of the American female experience.
The Visible Poetry Project partners thirty filmmakers with thirty poets to create visual interpretations of original and classic poems. VPP will release one short film interpretation of a poem per day for the thirty days of National Poetry Month (April).
Films will be screened at Festivals in NYC, Seattle, Beijing, and elsewhere.
