MOONBOX is holding auditions for SCHOOLHOUSE ROCK LIVE! a show that will tour Boston area schools during the 2018-2019 academic year. We are looking for 6-8 actors, who are strong singers who move well. Cast members must be available Tuesdays and Thursdays during the day (Sept 2018 – June 2019) to tour to local schools throughout the school year.
Actors must have their own transportation. Actors will be paid on a per show basis. Adult actors of all ages, ethnic backgrounds, abilities and gender identities are encouraged to audition.
WHEN: Auditions will be held Saturday February 17th from 2-6 p.m. and Sunday February 18th from 6-10 p.m. Auditions will be the first two hours and forty five minutes: Saturday 2:00 – 4:45 and Sunday 6:00 – 8:45. Callbacks will happen for the last hour and fifteen minutes. Callbacks include learning a short dance combination and singing songs from the show. Men should be familiar with Verb: That’s What’s Happening and women should be familiar with A Noun Is A Person, Place Or Thing and Interplanet Janet.
