Batgirl Web Series: Origins

A fan funded, fan made episodic web series retelling the story of Barbara Gordon’s origins as Batgirl. As well as the parallel fall of Harley Quinn to the Joker.
To be filmed mid December 2018 through late January 2019.
Roles Needed:
Jim Gordon: A jaded, police Commissioner,. Hardened by years of trying to maintain a city that won’t stay clean. Nearly killed by the Joker, he discovers that his own daughter has donned the cape and cowl to make up for Batman’s failings.
Preferred age range 30+
Stephanie Brown: Barbara Gordon’s blonde roommate and partner in crime. Snarky, spunky, and dedicated to supporting her best friend’s vigilantism.
Renee Montoya: A beat cop who works with Jim Gordon. Originally from the Dominican Republic, she moves to Gotham and struggles to maintain her integrity within a corrupt city. Acts as police commissioner in Gordon’s absence and Barbara’s motherly figure.
Extras: Thugs (fight experience preferred but not required), civilians.
Crew also needed for lighting, booming, sound, PA’s.
