Fighting To Be Dad, takes on contemporary and cultural problems of Parenting, Relationships and the American Legal System. Based on true events, this custody battle is like nothing you’ve ever seen before.

Character Breakdown:
Alicia – Age: late 20s, Ethnicity: Open. Very attractive with a bold fashion sense and attitude to match, she’s also not afraid to sneak in the back window when she is late for work.
Anna – Age: late 50s, early 60s, Ethnicity: Black American. Sister to Rev Alice Hilton and Aunt to Mo; even though she’s up in age her personality and wardrobe are not.
Carla – Age: late 20s early 30s, Ethnicity: Black American. A beautiful woman with the brains to match, she’s Curt’s cousin who frequents the shop regularly and has an eye for Mo.
Curtis – Age: mid to late 30s, Ethnicity: Black American. Mo’s best friend and fellow barber at All Star’s, where he’s the designated shop jokester and conspiracy theorist.
Jimmy Wells – Age: late 50s, Ethnicity: Open. Is the owner of All Star Barber and is currently training the next generation of barbers to take over when he retires. Jimmy is a former athlete who remains in decent shape.
Monique – Age: early to mid-30s, Ethnicity: Open. Is a social worker who loves her job. The only thing bigger than her heart is her fight for families
Rev. Alice Hilton – Age: mid-50s, Ethnicity: Black American. Is Mo’s Mom and Pastor of a local church who tries every day to lead her flock and set a good example for her son.
Rittenhouse Esq. – Age: mid-40s, Ethnicity: Caucasian American. Who’s been practicing law for over twenty years and has won over 85% of his cases.
Rosie Rosenberg Esq. – Age: Late 30’s, Ethnicity: Jewish. A brass knuckle hard chinned NJ lawyer who is the youngest, most successful partner at the firm, she has a keen fashion sense and is Tiffany’s mentor.
Theresa – Age: Infant / 6-9 years old, Ethnicity: Open. Mo’s daughter is rambunctious, smart, sassy and always bargaining with her dad to get what she wants.
Tiffany – Age: Late 20s, Ethnicity: Open. Mo’s girlfriend of 2 years who just passed the bar exam and is the newest lawyer at the firm of her dreams.
Tre – Age: Early to mid-20s, Ethnicity: Open. The only All Star Barber without a license.
