THE AMERICAN QUEEN STEAMBOAT COMPANY
is seeking talented Singer/Actor/Dancers for the American Empress Riverboat’s 2019 Cruising Season! The Empress performs 7-day overnight cruises on the Columbia and Snake Rivers, out of our home port of Vancouver, WA. We are looking for talented vocalists with sparkling personalities who can wow our guests on and off the stage!
Singers will be hired for “at will” employment to live and work onboard the American Empress. The 2019 cruising season will begin in late February, 2019, and end early January, 2020. These positions offer the possibility for long-term employment and promotion in a growing company!
PAY: $150/day, with an automatic raise to $175/day following 90 days worked. A benefits package also becomes available after 90 days. These positions will work in rotation with another cast throughout our 2019 cruising season.
AVAILABLE POSITIONS:
-Male Singer/Dancer: 21-45 years old, any race. Tenor voices preferred, but all will be considered!
-Female Singer/Dancer: 21-45 years old, any race. Soprano/Belter voices preferred, but all will be considered!
In addition to nightly musical performances, these positions will host daily passenger games and activities such as bingo, cocktail parties and on-shore hikes. All crew members are responsible for practicing a safety station bill.
Live auditions and call-backs may take place by appointment following your submission!
