Gotham is now filming episodes for the new season in the New York City area and casting extras.
Extras casting directors for the show at GWC in NYC are seeking adults in the New York City area who would like to work as paid background actors on the show. Talent available may follow the directions below to submit their photos and contact information directly to the casting directors for booking consideration. At the moment, the show is seeking extras.
“Gotham” is the prequel to the Batman series. It tells the back story of all our favorite Batman characters before Bruce Wayne grew up to be Batman. The show is a crime drama which focuses on James Gordon when he was still a detective in the Gotham police force.
According to FOX, the new season will peel back the curtain on the infamous criminal organization known as the Court of The Owls. With the Indian Hill escapees on the loose, JIM GORDON (Ben McKenzie) must take matters into his own hands as a bounty hunter in Gotham. He makes it his mission to find HUGO STRANGE (guest star BD Wong), the mastermind behind the horrifying Indian Hill experiments, and FISH MOONEY (guest star Jada Pinkett Smith), one of Strange’s subjects.
Meanwhile, GCPD Detective HARVEY BULLOCK (Donal Logue) and Captain NATHANIEL BARNES (Michael Chiklis) remain at the forefront of the fight against crime in the monster-ridden city. Also, BRUCE WAYNE (David Mazouz), with the help of his trusted butler and mentor, ALFRED PENNYWORTH (Sean Pertwee), and former Wayne Enterprises employee, LUCIUS FOX (Chris Chalk), discovers there are still more secrets to uncover regarding his parents’ murders.

Are they still looking for extras at this time or is it too late?
I am European woman educated with a good manners. I am middle aged, around 60, but look younger. I want to take a part – I do love movies, and I want to play people on the street. I speak English as well as Russian.
Unfortunately, this is an extras casting which is ALWAYS done locally. Casting is on short notice and casting directors will normally not consider people too far from the city it is filming in, much less out of the state or country. Extras make minimum wage (usually between 8 and 10 per hour) so it is not worth it to pay hundreds for travel to a job you would lose money on.
