Just Mercy starring Brie Larson, Michael B. Jordan, Jamie Foxx, O’Shea Jackson Jr. and others is now in production and there are casting calls out for local extras.
Casting Directors with Casting Taylor Made are currently booking many extras and featured extras roles in the project and there are casting notices out in the Atlanta area for folks that are looking to make a bit of extra cash as movie or TV show background actors.
Just Mercy focuses on civil rights attorney Bryan Stevenson and the stories behind his work on death row inmates who may have been innocent of the crimes levied against them. Just Mercy is a legal drama, an adaptation of the memoir of the same name written by Bryan Stevenson who is also the founder of the Equal Justice Initiative.
The movie is currently filming in Georgia and had also spent time filming in Montgomery, Alabama. According to the IMDB page, Just Mercy will be hitting theaters sometime in 2010.

According to the projects IMDB page, Just Mercy is a powerful and thought-provoking true-story, “Just Mercy” follows young lawyer Bryan Stevenson Jordan and his history-making battle for justice. After graduating from Harvard, Bryan might have had his pick of lucrative jobs. Instead, he heads to Alabama to defend those wrongly condemned, with the support of local advocate Eva Ansley Larson. One of his first, and most incendiary, cases is that of Walter McMillian Foxx, who, in 1987, was sentenced to die for the notorious murder of an 18-year-old girl, despite a preponderance of evidence proving his innocence and the fact that the only testimony against him came from a criminal with a motive to lie. In the years that follow, Bryan becomes embroiled in a labyrinth of legal and political maneuverings and overt and unabashed racism as he fights for Walter, and others like him, with the odds-and the system-stacked against them.
