Hi all! I am co-producing a Ryerson Thesis film and we’re looking for a few young actors aged 7-12 for our final shoot day this Saturday, December 8th. Set in the 1970s, we’ll be decking you out in appropriate wardrobe – no audition or experience needed! We’re a crew of unpaid students finishing our degree at Ryerson, so we can’t compensate (save for travel!) but we’re highly professional folks who can provide a safe, fun experience for kids who are looking to get more familiar on film sets. Check out what we’ve shot so far!
SYNOPSIS: Moments after accidentally breaking the tape of his parents’ wedding video, 10-year-old NEIL is told they have decided to separate. Thinking the only explanation for this coincidence is that he’s stuck in a dream, Neil recruits his best friend, AUDREY, and the two set out on a doomed-to-fail mission to fix the tape and wake up. Actors chosen for this part will play NEIL and AUDREY’s classmates and friends.
