Overgrown “shaggy” brown hair, skinny, 5′ 8″ or taller. A genius mastermind. Must own a dark suit and white collared shirt to wear for the shoot. Look 16 – 17 years old. Will film a “break in” scene from the book in Braintree, MA. A one day shoot. Storyboards and script complete.

From the book’s description: Football playing stud. Digby’s best friend. Greek looking. Look 16 -18 years old. Dark hair, great arm muscles. Wears T-shirt and jeans. 5′ 10″ or taller.
One day shoot, under two hours once crew all present. Need to film when the office complex is closed (after 5pm or weekends)
$25 card meal, plus reimburse gas/transportation

This project is a short used to reflect the book by Stephanie Tromly and promote reading. Created by a film club in Marshfield, MA. Expected audience: readers of the book, and potential readers who are considering the title. Currently our club’s trailers have 5 trailers with 2k- 20k views, plus others with views in 100s. See the “Book Trailer Tuesday Club” channel on Youtube. We don’t make money from the trailers we create and don’t have a monetized Youtube account. We create to encourage reading and practice cinematography skills. Our goal is to represent the books we choose honestly and with the goal of “Movie trailer” quality. Reply by 09/04/18.
Story:
Trouble Is A Friend of Mine is the story about a New York city teen (Zoe) who moves to a suburban town after her parents’ divorce, and a strange, but magnetic teen (Digby) ropes her into committing (small time) crime as he investigates a missing person case which he thinks relates to his sister’s disappearance years ago. Veronica Mars like, detective work, sarcasm, and action.
