Is casting for techs, one lead, several supporting parts and extras. By appointment, weekends, Manhattan, NY. Michael T. Littlejohn is Producing this musical-comedy sci-fi feature length film set in prohibition-era Manhattan and Brooklyn. Interior shoots in Manhattan, exterior shoots in Brooklyn. Seeking local talent only (within 75 miles) of NYC. Non-union, compensated via a profit-sharing plan. Auditions during the weekends of June and July 2018, Rehearsals September 2018, Shoots August, Sept and Oct of 2018, weekends only which will interface with your day job. This hard-working indie company is seeking multi-talented actors and behind-the-camera techs as follows:

i. Techs:

Experienced Production Assistant with reliable transportation, familiar with Manhattan, professional manner, light loading and unloading. Travel between Brooklyn and Manhattan. Experience driving NYC.

Assistant to the Producer (a film student with a substantial work ethic is preferred for this compensated position).

Dressmaker (FIT Students preferred)

Makeup Techs, Hair Techs (interns can gain a valuable reference and experience.

An Irish Marine Sargent (acting plus comedy) age range 40 to 50
An Irish Housekeeper, frumpy, grumpy and opinionated, age range 50 to 70
An androgenous girl who passes for a young sailor. (acting, comedy) 18-21
A portly, grumpy foreman of a construction high rise crew, range 35 -55
A Catholic Sister, age 30 – 60
Elmer, a young taxi driver, 18 – 25
Pierre, the smarmy doorman of a speakeasy, age range 30 to 45
Supporting gangster #1 looking for iconic gangster faces, don’t be classically handsome for this one, big noses and character faces get notice.
Supporting gangster #2 as above
Young drunk in a speakeasy, age range 20 to 30

iii Extras

4 showgirls, each has one or two brief lines, some dancing preferred.
Men and women of any age 18 to 70 to populate a 1929 era speakeasy. Light dancing, nothing formidable. Drinking and carousing.
Boys who look like children to play street kids, circa 1929
A wino with one good one liner (your chance to shine) 45 to 60
The abducted woman (not over 125 lbs) a woman abducted by a space ship.
African American carriage driver lamenting his dead horse. 20 to 50
African American woman 20 to 40 for background

Harry, a Manhattan Mob Boss, a comical psychopath, great lines. Have fun playing this guy. Acting and Comedy.
