Casting Notice:
“Menu Specials” is a quirky, somewhat comedic, domestic violence PSA made for ncdsv.org. In it, a man and a woman are out eating lunch. The waiter comes up to the table and tells the man and woman the restaurant specials. In doing so the waiter subtly hints at ways that the menu specials can also be used for abusing and hurting each other.
Caitlyn: female, age 20’s. Caitlyn is the lead female role. She is nice and optimistic about the future.
Waiter: male, age 20’s. The waiter is the main male role. He is a nice and friendly man who is passionate about his job.
Andy: male, age 20’s. Andy is the supporting male role however still playing an important part in the overall piece. He does not have much dialogue so his actions and expressions are most important. He is a polite and well-mannered male, that is until he doesn’t get what he wants.
Extras: male or female age 21 and older.
