Casting Calls are out for “Night School”
The upcoming comedy feature which is actually described as an action-comedy, is now filming in the Atlanta area. The Universal Pictures project is being produced by Kevin Hart who also happens to be starring in the film. Kevin Hart is producing under his Hartbeat Productions company and Will Packer is also named as a producer on the project.
According to the information available via Variety, Kevin Hart fans will have about a year to go until the movie’s premiere as “Night School” will hit theaters in the fall of 2018.
Variety also reports that the comedy “Night School” is based on a story by Hart that follows a group of misfits forced to attend adult classes to prepare for the GED exam. The screenplay was written by Hart, Harry Ratchford, Joey Wells, and Matt Kellard, with additional script work by Nick Stoller.
Kevin Hart is also well known for his live shows and is currently performing with his next show coming up later this week in Charleston.

The movie project was announced this past spring and is now filming. Casting directors with Atlanta’s Marinella Hume Casting are looking to cast area locals that would like to be considered in small paying roles including featured extras, extras, photo doubles and stand-ins.
