Melissa McCatrhy’s Movie “Superintelligence” Casting Extras in The ATL

If you live in the Atlanta area, you have a shot at working as a paid movie extra in a new movie.

“Superintelligence” is now filming and the extras casting team has been releasing multiple casting calls for the project. Melissa McCarthy will be starring in the Warner Bros. flick currently titled “Super Intelligence.” According to an article that appeared in Variety. McCarthy stars in this action-drama which is being directed by her husband, Ben Falcone.

Also, according to Variety, the movie is set to be released in theaters this coming Christmas, 2019. McCarthy and Falcone have teamed up before, The team produced the 2014 comedy “Tammy”as well as the 2016 comedy, “The Boss.”

Melissa McCarthy plays a former corporate executive who finds herself in an odd position when she is selected to be a guinea pig for the 1st ever “super-intelligence,” the AI system that may be set on world domination. McCarthy’s character is chosen to be observed by the AI and since it’s a comedy, we must assume nothing goes according to plan. The movie is written by Steve Mallory and production on the film began some weeks ago in the Atlanta area.

Melissa McCarthy has another movie that is also in the works. She is set to star in New Line’s mob drama “The Kitchen,” with Tiffany Haddish and Elisabeth Moss. That movie is set to go into production this coming fall and is based on a DC Comics project.
