NOS4A2 (pronounced Nosferatu) is coming to AMC and there is an open, online audition for a principal role.
New York area casting directors are currently holding online / video auditions for a principal male role.
The new show seems to be based on a novel by author Joe Hill. The book came out some years back and it looks like the TV network AMC (Walking Dead) will be coming out with a TV show based on the book.
In the book version of the story, a woman is caught up in some Supernatural stuff and is put in a position where show must save her son from a supernatural killer.
The book, NOS4A2 was nominated for the Bram Stoker Award for Best Novel in 2013.
The TV version of the story is now holding online auditions for a role in the show.
According to IMDB, the TV series will begin with a young Victoria “Vic” McQueen discovering that she has the power to unlock portals that help her find lost objects. As she delves further into this hidden universe, she encounters many other “inscape travelers” – some benevolent, and some who have been corrupted by their power. When Vic encounters Charlie Manx, an immortal who stays that way by feeding off of the souls of children, she makes a sworn enemy of Manx.
