Open Call in NYC For 1 Act Play “Amy’s In The Way” – Actors to Play Teens

By | May 10, 2018

LIC One Act Festival 2018

Location: New York, New York

Type: Theater

My play, Amy’s In The Way, has been pre-selected to participate in the LIC 2018 One-Act Festival!

The Festival is taking place at the Secret Theatre in Queens in New York City (4402 23rd St, Long Island City, NY 11101). Unfortunately, I cannot be in the city this summer, so I need one director and two actors that can play teenagers (one male, one female) to put on the production. The play is only 10 minutes in length, and doesn’t require any costumes, extreme staging, ect (minimalistic)

We will be given a performance time in the coming weeks, but the play will be put on between Thursday July 12th and Saturday July 28th. No experience is required in order to be involved in this production!

A rehearsal schedule can be worked out at the director’s discretion, but the Secret
Theatre is providing a free two hour rehearsal space from July 2nd-8th!

If you are interested, want to read my play, or get involved in any way, feel free to reach me and I promise I will answer any more questions you have!

I’d love to read your play and might be interested but I don’t know if I’d be free those days so for now I’d be fine just reading it
