“The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940”
The Clayton Theatre Company is proud to announce its spring 2019 production: “The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940.” Complete with double identities, hidden passages, murders, and mystery this comedy blends the serious with the silly.
An old-school, comedic thriller (with a bit of music thrown in for good measure), the play finds a group of theatre artists auditioning for a new musical in the Von Grossenkneuten mansion in December of 1940. When a blizzard hits, what was supposed to an audition quickly turns into a murder-mystery with everyone a suspect.
