Synopsis: An alien marketplace has set up inside the XOXO Festival. All seems well, until the pay phones start ringing. And what do all of these signs in an alien language mean? What seems to be an innocent, intergalactic shipping yard turns out to be something a little sinister, with a hint of decadence. Patrons of the XOXO Festival will need to follow the clues to reveal the full mystery of the marketplace.
Roles:
[MARKET VENDOR] [GENDER: ANY] [AGE: ANY]
A friendly alien, selling their otherworldly fruits and wares. They’re talkative, but maybe not the best salesperson. To a few lucky festival patrons, the vendor will serve as an informant, leading them down a path of mystery.
[ALIEN BUREAUCRAT ] [GENDER: ANY] [AGE: ANY]
A grumpy alien working in the shipping yard’s Import/Export office. There are piles of paperwork to get through, and XOXO patrons keep interrupting their important work! Unless festival patrons know exactly what they’re looking for and how to explain it to this paperpusher, they’ll never get to the bottom of the marketplace mystery.
