CRIMES OF THE HEART
By Beth Henley

Directed by O.P. Hadlock

Five years after Hurricane Camille, three sisters, Lenny, Meg, and Babe, have gathered in their small Mississippi hometown of Hazelhurst awaiting news of their dying grandfather. Babe is out on bail having shot her husband (“I just couldn’t stand his looks anymore!”). Their troubles, which are grave yet somehow hilarious, are highlighted by their cousin Chick, Doc Porter and Babe’s young lawyer who is trying to keep her out of jail while waging a personal vendetta against her husband.
