The Dark I Know Well: A Revue

The Rainbow Connection, a new LGBT+ performing arts company, is seeking singers for their debut production: “The Dark I Know Well: A Musical Revue.”
This revue will feature dark and emotionally charged songs from the musical theatre genre. With songs from musicals like “Jekyll and Hyde,” “Ragtime,” “Spring Awakening,” “Cabaret” and more.
Performances will be held on October 28th and 29th at 7:30pm at the Armory in Somerville. Audition venue TBD.
Singers from the LGBT+ community are strongly encouraged to audition but not a requirement. A small stipend will be available based on profit share. Singers must be at least eighteen years old by performance date.
For auditions please prepare 32 bars of a dramatic musical theatre song. An accompanist will be provided so please bring a copy of your music in the appropriate key. Please no a capella singing.
Rehearsals will be based on cast availability.
