NYC Female A Cappella Group – Mezzo

Mezzo, a contemporary, New York-based female a cappella group, is holding auditions for a high soprano (preferred) but other voice parts welcome. Previous a cappella experience required, and all potential auditionees should be free for callbacks on October 23, 2018.
Founded in 2014, Mezzo’s ladies perform all around the city including venues like Rockwood Music Hall, The Shrine, The Bell House, Pianos, Sidewalk Cafe, and others. We intend to continue booking gigs and performing, as well as honing a rich, layered sound that pushes the limits of a female a cappella group. Pop, rock, doo-wop and classic melodies are all our jam! We rehearse once a week in Midtown, with additional rehearsals as necessary when gigs approach.
