Audition Notice: The Story of Ethel Rosenberg

Teatron Toronto Jewish Theatre is seeking actors for our upcoming production of The Story of Ethel & Julius Rosenberg,
Nov. 8-17th, 2018 at the Toronto Centre for the Arts – Studio Theatre
Rehearsal Dates: Sunday October 14th – TBC

A courtroom and prison drama set in New York city in the early 1950’s, where Ethel and Julius Rosenberg were convicted of Conspiracy to commit Espionage by spying for the Russians.

Character Breakdown
Julius Rosenberg – M -30-40
Ethel Rosenberg – F – 30-40
David Greenglass (Ethel’s brother) – M – 30-40
Ethel Greenglass (David’s wife) – F – 30-40
The Defense – M – 50+
The Prosecution – M – 50+
Newsboy – M – 13-17

Auditions: Sunday June 24th, 10 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Callbacks: Wednesday July 4, 5:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.
Open to all non-union, non-paying and EQUITY members under D.O.T. (Dance, Opera,Theatre) policy.
