The game show “Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader” is now casting nationwide
The series is looking for smart 5th graders as well the adults who are ready to take the challenge to prove that they are in fact smarter than the 5th grader. The show seems to have a new host these days and the casting call states that John Cena will be hosting.
Casting directors are on a contestant search and are looking for folks with huge personalities and think they are in fact smarter than a 5th grader.
The show also is accepting application from smart 5th grade school children and their parents. The casting directors have setup a page for the kids and parents to audition on. Please see this page for more details.

Adult contestants try to answer questions drawn from elementary school textbooks. Five actual fifth-grade “classmates” can help the adult player as he tries to reach the million-dollar jackpot. The grown-up can “cheat” three ways: He can Peek, looking at the child’s answer; he can Copy, meaning he must use the child’s answer; or he can Save, for when he guesses wrong and the classmate has the right answer. A contestant can walk away at any point with the money he has won, as long as he admits, “I am not smarter than a fifth grader.”

Those are some incredibly smart kids, but I would love to challenge them! Thank you for this opportunity.
My son was watching this show before he went to bed. After he left I sat down and watched for 1-2 minutes. I realized how disturbing and inappropriate the adults and children were.
Shame on you all.
Do not watch this show if you speak clearly because they enjoy degrading and belittling others.

I am ready to prove that even though I am 69 years old, I am smarter then a 5th grader.
If I get to be on the show, I just wanted to say I am very excited, happy, smart, energetic, and funny. I think I am smarter than an adult or I think I do. I might just be a 5th grader but I am really smart and think that I might be smarter than an adult.
I really hope I can get in the show as the 5th grade role. I’ve been looking for something to catch my eye so I can audition for and I think I could probably beat an adult with my smarts. Please consider my offer to join your show.
