Weist-Barron-Ryan Acting Studios in Pleasantville, NJ is casting for:
1.Bill (9-12, lead) – Reserved and thoughtful, with a temper to boot. All he wants to do is go to the beach, a wish his wayward mother seems bent on denying.
2. Diana (early 30s, lead) – A young mother, recently divorced. Well-meaning, though short on decorum. Strong, proud and a bit overwhelmed.
3. Suzy (5-7, lead) – Suzy wants ice cream. And she’s not afraid to go along on the day’s eventful journey to get it.
4. Tourist Mother (40s – 50s, supporting) – Looking forward to a day on the boardwalk with her family. But when Diana and the kids show up, her patience is tested.
5. Tourist Father (40s – 50s, supporting) – Regular guy, just trying to get through the day without any hiccups.
6. Tourist Son (5-10, supporting) – Utterly shocked to see his parents get in a fight with a stranger on the boardwalk.
7. Ice Cream Parlor Server (16-25, supporting) – Professional and pleasant, though training hasn’t prepared her for the day’s ensuing workplace drama.
