All video auditions must be submitted by noon on September 15th.
Video auditions must include a 1-minute monologue as well as a reading of 1 or 2 sides from the show.
Synopsis
This is a story of wounding and the journey to healing. The ladies you will meet in this story all have a past, they have experience hurt and loss; some even failure, but God uses that to bring us out and draw us closer to Him. Cynthia, teacher by day and wife and mother of two by night. Has come home from work to find the sheriff and his deputy serving her final notice of eviction; and with all of her personal item on the curb. Taken by complete surprise, she had no time to gather her things before her kids got home from school. Cynthia and her children are now homeless.
So, she packed what she could fit in her car, her neighbor agrees to store the rest of her things. Confused by these turns of events she tries calling her husband but there is no answer. As she is preparing to picks-up the kids from school, before leaving her home, an officer of the court meets her in the driveway to service her divorce papers. She is shocked… She is scared, angry, and confused. Her children aren’t sure what has happened. They are all tired and a bit fearful of what will happen next. While in the car driving to Grace Home, Cynthia had time to think about her day and the more she thought about what her husband has done, the more upset she becomes. What Cynthia will learn at Grace Home is that her past, and her mistakes are not final.
