Synopsis: A man’s courage is tested when he witnesses a woman brutally beaten by her boyfriend.
DEVIN: (MALE, AGE 20-25)
Devin is a quiet and reserved young man who doesn’t know how to stick up for himself. He has no friends. He lives with alcoholic mother who verbally abuses him on a daily basis.
KAREN (DEVIN’S MOM): (FEMALE, AGE 40-50)
Karen is a mean alcoholic. She never really grew up and still acts like a teenager. She’s never been able to keep a man and she blames her son for this.
DESTINY: (FEMALE, AGE 18-25)
Destiny is an outspoken woman. She is friendly and flirtatious. She’s an activist and fights for civil rights. She cares alot for the environment and rides a bike everywhere she goes.
LARGE MAN: (MALE, AGE 20-30)
An insecure and intimidating man with a very large body build who brutally beats his girlfriend.
TERRIFIED WOMAN: (FEMALE, AGE 20-30)
A woman who is no stranger to the horror of abuse. (This will be a somewhat physical role and require some mild stunts, nothing TOO crazy)
