Auditions in Oklahoma City for Student Movie Roles

The Advanced Media Production class at Oklahoma Christian University is searching for actors to fill roles in Transfer, a student/faculty produced short film. Roles are unpaid, however, craft services will be provided and clips will be provided upon request. Casting will be on March 15th from 3:30 – 5:30 and March 16th from 1:00 – 3:00.

Transfer is about Simon, an average guy, starts his day off like any other day, cooking breakfast with his wife and spending time with his young daughter. However, as he begins to receive mysterious text messages from an unknown number his life begins to turn upside down. The line between reality and fantasy is blurred until even the simplest of truths are questioned.

We are looking to fill these roles:

Simon – Simon is what one would call an average looking guy with an age landing in the late 20’s early 30’s. His height his roughly 5’11”. He has brown hair and a clean-shaven face. The aura of his character is one of goodness. He has self-confidence in the knowledge of his reality. He is a man of routine, but won’t be deterred when presented with an opportunity to do something new.

Liz – She is the wife of Simon. She has blonde hair and has a fun, down to earth personality. She in her late 20’s to early 30’s. Throughout the film, she has a haunted persona of what happened to her in the past.

Alicia – Alicia is the daughter of Simon and Liz. She is like any other 10-year-old girl, she dreams about what she is going to do in life. She loves her family and expresses that through her energy and happiness.

Man 1: Not much is known about Man 1 other than the fact that he is a part of the government rehabilitation research process. Though he is helping to put on these experiments, there is a sense of his ethical center or moral compass being challenged.

Man 2: Not much is known about Man 2. He is a part of the government rehabilitation research process. He is pushing the process to its limits. He wants to achieve results and success no matter the cost.
