Palo Alto Children’s Theatre seeks male actors for upcoming musical production of Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type.
About the show:
Click, Clack, Moo: Cows that Type, is a musical that tells the story of Farmer Brown and his barnyard animals. When the animals find an old typewriter in the barn, they proceed to write letters to Farmer Brown, making various demands and going on strike when they aren’t met.
Rehearsals: January 2 – January 20, 2020
Performances: January 21 – February 21, 2020
*Actors must be available for all performances
Rehearsals and performances will take place at the Palo Alto Children’s Theatre which is located in the Lucie Stern Community Center at 1305 Middlefield Road in Palo Alto.
Pay: $2,350 stipend for rehearsal period & performances
Open Roles: We will only be considering actors ages 18+ for all roles:
- Duck – the story’s narrator, but also a participant (and instigator); Vocal range G2-G4
- Farmer Brown – not mean or a bad guy; just trying to get his work done; vocal range G2 – D4
Audition Submission: Actors should submit a short video of themselves singing a song of about 1 minute and performing a side from the production (obtain the side by emailing stage.manager@cityofpaloalto.org). Along with their video, auditioners should submit their headshot & resume to stage.manager@cityofpaloalto.org.
