Ballet de Barcelona’s Professional Training Program offers recently graduated students the opportunity to gain professional experience. This program aims to refine dancers technically, nourish them artistically and give them several performance opportunities. The programs will require at least 28 hours of dancing per week.
By limiting the number of trainees in the program and having separate classes designed specifically for them, we ensure that each dancer receives maximum individual attention. This is a vital component of the program that gives the dancers the details and knowledge to take their career to the next level.
Various choreographies and sections of full length ballets will be designed only for the trainee program. This guarantees that every single trainee gets performance opportunities throughout the year. This includes selecting certain exceptionally hardworking trainees to dance alongside company members.
The trainee program will work in close collaboration with Ballet de Barcelona’s professional company. Learning how to integrate into the professional environment can be one of the most challenging things to acclimate to. By working at the professional pace, with various choreographers and varying styles of dance, the trainee will understand the principles of being professional. It is our mission to guide the trainees towards self motivation, independence, and responsibility.
The faculty of the program, will be comprised of a team of permanent and guest teaching staff, dancers from the professional company, and guest choreographers.

Health and Wellness
The tuition covers private health insurance for each trainee that enrolls in the program. This insures that every dancer has the resources they need in any situation, such as illness, injury, or emergency. We pride ourself on creating a safe space for all dancer.
Admissions Support
Our team will assist you in enrolling at Ballet de Barcelona, including acquiring the proper student visa. Our team has lots of experience with lodging the student visa properly and timely. This is service is included in the registration fee.

Video auditions will be accepted for Ballet de Barcelona’s trainee program. Video submissions should include both classical and contemporary work.
