UNCOMFORTABLE WAITRESS
20 to 65 years old, Caucasian female. She immediately feels unsafe around the Hispanic customers, and doesn’t like that they’re speaking Spanish instead of English. She assumes they’re “illegals,” and stands her ground, saying she just doesn’t feel comfortable and that they should leave before she calls the cops. Needs to be a fearless actress. Must be available for in-person audition on March 19 and be available to shoot 2 or 3 days during April 1-10.
SPONSOR PARENT
30 to 50 years old, Caucasian female. She is a kindhearted, supportive mom who is sponsoring an undocumented immigrant child through the immigration process while he/she is separated from their family. She doesn’t think this is wrong at all, and is happy to help and provide for the lonely child. When a stranger tells her she’s doing the wrong thing for America, she is shocked and upset by this, not sure what to say. Must be available for in-person audition on March 19 and be available to shoot 1 or 2 days during April 1-10.

ANGRY CUSTOMER
25 to 65 years old, Caucasian male. A stranger who, upon seeing a white woman sponsoring a Mexican child, can’t hold back his thoughts. Needs to be fearless, but not intimidating/scary. Must be available for in-person audition on March 19 and be available to shoot 2 or 3 days during April 1-10.
BIKE RIDER
20 to 55 years old, Caucasian male. Must be OK with bike stunt (falling down) and with some minor special effects make-up (wound on the leg or arm). Stunt experience preferred (please leave a note if you have experience). When he falls, he’s in pain and needs a minute before getting back up. When the guy recording him gets in his face, he’s upset and embarrassed, trying to hold onto his dignity. 20 to 60 years old, all ethnicities male or female. A male and female couple are touring New Mexico and very interested in learning about aliens and UFO sightings. SKEPTICAL WAITRESS
25 to 60 years old, Hispanic or Caucasian, or Ethnically Ambiguous female. She’s used to tourists coming through, so this couple who is excitedly talking about aliens makes her roll her eyes. She’s not mean or a bully, but these people and their beliefs in extraterrestrial life make her laugh. She’s happy to disprove their theories and make them “come back to reality,” and isn’t afraid to take a poll of what other people think at the restaurant. She’s not disrespectful but she’s not changing her point of view. Must be available for in-person audition on March 19 and be available to shoot 2 or 3 days during April 1-10.
