Get cast on Insatiable.
Insatiable, a black comedy on Netflix, is now filming the new season in the Atlanta area and casting calls are out for Atlanta area locals who would like to work as background actors on the show.
The show is based “The Pageant King of Alabama,” an article that appeared in the New York Times and written by Jeff Chu. The show airs on Netflix and premiered last summer. Netflix has renewed the series for another season that is filming now and will hit Netflix later this year.
Insatiable stars Debby Ryan as Patty Bladell. Debbie Ryan co-starred in the Disney Channel show Suite Life on Deck and then got her own Disney series, Jessie.
In Insatiable, Debbie plays a teen who was horrible bullied by her school mates for being overweightager who was constantly bullied in school for being overweight. After a freak accident during the summer, she finds herself with her jaw wired shut which forces her to lose weight. She loses the weight and returns to school newly thin and looking to get her revenge. A disgraced civil lawyer and obsessed beauty pageant coach named Bob becomes determined to turn Patty into a beauty pageant queen.
