Lin-Manuel Miranda has a new project coming out and the project is casting in New York for extras.
The Tony Award musical “In The Heights” is being made into a movie. The Warner Bros movie will be directed by Jon M. Chu and is a film adaptation of Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Tony-winning musical, In The Heights.
Casting directors with GWC in New York are seeking locals of all ages to work as paid background actors on the film. The movie will be filming in NYC between June and September of 2019 and the production needs lots of extras to portray people in the neighborhood.
In The Heights is a The Tony Award-winning musical and the film adaptation is now in production in the New York City area. In The Heights features music by Lin-Manuel Miranda. Lin-Manuel Miranda is the man behind the hit Broadway musical “Hamilton” – The adaptation is based on the book by Quiara Alegría Hudes. The film is going to be a musical that centers around a Latin American neighborhood in New York City and a bodega owner who serves as the stories narrator. When the bodega owner decides to go back to the place that his parents came from, he realizes that his leaving will change his neighborhood.
