Casting for U.S. Census PSA in LA – Professional Production, Wide Distribution

I’m casting two gen z/young millennials (think early 20s or under, male and female, preferably ethnic) for a professionally produced PSA that will have wide distribution. Partners on board include Define American, Young Invincibles, Do Something, 18 Million Rising, etc–The list grows daily!
The goal is to educate gen Z/young millennials about U.S. Census participation in an entertaining, informative way.
The PSA is produced by Count the Nation, a nonprofit that is a project of USC’s Annenberg Innovation Lab. We are a part of a network of organizations, including media, journalism, and businesses that are supporting the national census count.
Film Date: Thursday, Nov 14 and/or Monday, Nov 18 (subject to change by a day or two)
Project Breakdown: This is U.S. is a series of six, 1min social media PSA sketches targeted towards educating Gen Z’s about the 2020 U.S. Census, which takes place April 1, 2020. Each scripted sketch will incorporate comedy as a means to educate. While comedy is a powerful marketing tool, the heart of this performance is to relay factual information surrounding the census and communicating a call to action.
Host/Talent Breakdown: This is U.S. is searching for two diverse hosts – ideally one male and one female of different ethnicities. As written, the dynamic of our hosts should be two knowledgeable friends – one quirky eccentric type and one average everyday type. This will allow for a balance that is neither boring nor obnoxious – the perfect mix to keep our audience engaged. We’ve written our hosts as Jack and Jill, but we are open to using talents’ true stage-names or changing their names to meet their preferences.
