PROJECT TITLE: The Casey Principle (Shooting Scenes from television pilot)
DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT : Student Master’s Thesis Project. Independent production. MFA at Antioch University, Santa Barbara.
LOCATION/SHOOT SCHEDULE: Seattle, WA, International District (Chinatown), Nov. 15 or Nov. 18, 2019 (TBD), One-Day Shoot
ABOUT STORY: Logline: A down and out Private Eye’s supposedly simple surveillance case leads to the murder of a “trust fund kid” and a search for the elusive client that vanished after the crime. As Duncan pursues the truth, old adversaries and a lead to her missing son challenge her physical and mental health, pushing her closer to the edge.
COMPENSATION: Honorariums only, listed below by position.

CREW POSITIONS
Production Assistant/Clapper
(Paid – $45) + ($15 Transportation Stipend)
Duties: Great communication skills. Handling production paperwork. Must have vehicle to transport equipment and drive crew (Director only) to and from location. Assist with set preparation for production. Without a 1st AC, I need my PA to also Slate scenes.
Sound – Boom Operator
(Paid – $60)
Duties: Skilled operator to anticipate performance on set by actors and position the microphone at appropriate angles for clear crisp dialogue. You will be overseeing a mounted mic to a Tascam portable audio recorder. Please be familiar with the Tascam DR-05 for quick usability.
Chief Lighting Technician/Gaffer
(Paid – $60)
Duties: All equipment provided. Set up 3-point lighting scheme (with background light option) — Low-end Light Kit (Soft Boxes & Back Light). Experience with Reflectors(gold, silver, white, black, translucent available) for modifying lighting shadows/adding contour. Color correction gels. Addition of Practical lamp in scene.
Script Supervisor
(Paid – $35)
Duties: Continuity person with attention to details. Script supervising. Continuity for wardrobe, hair, props, etc. match from scene to scene. Taking pictures of set to make sure it maintains symmetry from the last time the camera rolled.
Craft services provided Day of Shoot.
