A tradition since 1971, the Disneyland Resort All-American College Band, Presented by Yamaha, is a once-in-a lifetime music, performance, and educational opportunity.
The 21-piece band performs at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California for eleven weeks each summer, and gives top college musicians from all around the United States the opportunity to learn about the entertainment industry first-hand through clinics with world-renowned artists, producers, and industry professionals. Past clinicians have included Wayne Bergeron, Gregg Field, John Clayton, Jiggs Whigham, and Rick Baptist, just to name a few.
Participants perform five days a week at The Disneyland Resort. Each day includes a clinic, rehearsal, or industry experience; and five performance sets: four as a moving show band and one onstage concert set.
Yamaha provides pro-line instruments, including doubles, for all members of the band while participating in the program. Participants will have the opportunity to purchase this instrument at the end of the summer at a discounted rate.
SEEKING:
We are seeking college students with a diverse musical background, excellent musicality, and an expressive/outgoing personality. Participants must be at least 18 years old, currently enrolled in a U.S. college or university, and have completed at least one year. The Disneyland Resort will provide fully-furnished housing and weekly compensation.

4 Trumpets
3 Tenor Trombones (double on Euphonium encouraged)
1 Bass Trombone (double on Euphonium encouraged)
2 Alto Sax (double on flute/clarinet/piccolo encouraged)
2 Tenor Sax (double on flute/clarinet/piccolo encouraged)
1 Baritone Sax (double on flute/clarinet/piccolo encouraged)
2 Tuba/Sousaphone – will play on tuba and sousaphone
2 Horn/Mellophone – will play on French horn and mellophone
1 Snare Drum (doubles on Drum set or Auxiliary Percussion)
1 Tenor Drum/Quads (doubles on Drum set or Auxiliary Percussion)
1 Bass (Acoustic & Electric; doubles on Bass Drum or tuba)
1 Jazz Piano (doubles on auxiliary percussion)
There are no string, theater, singer or dancer positions.
