New FOX series “Almost Family” casting in NYC.
Fox has ordered a new series titled “Almost Family” that is due to premiere this fall in October. The show is executive produced by “Parenthood’s” Jason Katims and Annie Weisman (“Desperate Housewives”). The series is described as a family comedy / drama in which 3 biological siblings, who were conceived through sperm donations at a fertility clinic, come together once the truth is revealed. This unusual family must struggle to try to connect having spent their lives apart and come together as a family unit, against all odds. bring you the story of an unusual family formed through extreme odds. Through their own journey, they find out they may have over 100 siblings, with all of them having the same biological father. According to FOX, the new show will explore such topics as identity, family connection and all the emotional complications that children conceived through IVF face.

About the show:
Only child Julia Bechley finds her life turned upside down when her father reveals that, over the course of his prize-winning career as a pioneering fertility doctor, he used his own sperm to conceive upward of 100 children. Reeling from this explosive revelation, Julia discovers two new sisters — her former best friend, Edie Palmer, and an ex-Olympic athlete, Roxy Doyle. As these three young women begin to embrace their new reality, Julia must figure out what life is like without her father by her side; Edie comes to grips with her burgeoning sexuality as her marriage falters; and Roxy faces adulthood out of the spotlight. Against all odds, the three women will attempt to form an untraditional bond as sisters, even as they must welcome a tidal wave of new siblings into their rapidly expanding family.
Almost Family is seeking caucasian TWINS three months or younger, to portray the newborn of a principal actor on the series.
