Casting for Film Trailer

Award-winning filmmaker based in NYC is developing a new feature film. It is a mystery/suspense drama with vegan and animal rights themes. Right now we are preparing to produce a short trailer/promo to help with fundraising.
This will be a 7 day shoot in the late spring, 2019. Rehearsals will be held 1-2 weeks before the shoot date.
Non-union. Some pay as well as meals, transportation, accommodations and screen credit provided.

Will – lead
We are seeking a Native American actor to play the role of Will who is very sincere, earnest and intuitive. He exasperates his family and community with his incessant questions. The actor must be able to realistically play a boy of 8-10 from NY area.
Bridget – lead
We are seeking a white actress for the role of Bridget. She is a very outspoken, alpha personality. She wants her young son to be “normal” and to stop being so annoying with his non-stop questions. Femailes aged 35 to 45 from New York area.
Wally – lead
We are seeking an Asian actor to play the role of Wally who is a no-nonsense corporate money maker. He cares for his young son very much but is extremely exasperated that his son won’t conform to societal norms. Males, aged 35 to 45 from New York area.
Scratch – lead
Seeking a white actor to play the role of Scratch. Scratch is a weathered rural southern recluse with a dark and troubling past. He walks with a slight limp and can be quite moody and cantankerous. Males, aged 65 to 75 from New York area.
Dr. Daryll – principal
Seeking a Latin (Italian, Hispanic) or white actor to play the role of Dr. Daryll – a nice looking, well groomed, rather arrogant pediatrician. Males, aged 35 to 45 from New York area.
