Royal Caribbean is hosting open auditions in the New York City area and Miami, Florida for singers, dancers and performers that would love a chance to get cast in one of their shows. The company produces a variety of shows and musicals that are performed at sea, on-board their luxury cruise ships that travel around the world.
Please note that both the New York and the Miami auditions are listed below. The NYC audition is in January of 2020 while the Miami auditions are being held this week.

Dancers
Dancers will be required to audition live or by video submission. Our choreographer will teach three challenging combinations at the live auditions. Proper dance attire will be required. Video submission applicants must submit video footage displaying a brief across the floor combination (2 to 4 counts of 8) to include: pirouettes (Jazz or Classical), jumps, extensions, battements, etc. You will also need to include two contrasting Jazz combinations, 1 to 2 minutes minimum, in Contemporary, Lyrical or Funk Jazz styles. Video footage of previous performance experience showing various dance styles as well as any specialty skills such as aerial or tumbling is a plus. Live auditions are preferred.
Singers
Mature, versatile vocalists who are able to harmonize and perform a wide variety of music genres, including Pop/Rock, R&B/Soul, Gospel, Contemporary Musical Theatre/Broadway, and Jazz. Must move extremely well. Strong acting ability and experience singing in other languages a plus.
FEMALES: (Any ethnicity)
Must read 20s to early 40s. 5’4 or taller. Attractive, captivating, leading lady types with a strong, controlled belt/mix to F5 and legit to C6.
MALES: (Any ethnicity)
Must read 20s to early 40s. 5’8 or taller. Attractive, strong, masculine, leading man types. Tenors and Bari-tenors with strong falsetto extension. Must be able to comfortably sing and sustain up to A4. Falsetto to F5.
AUDITION PREPARATION
Please prepare your best 16-32 bars (preferably pop/rock) that shows range and personality. Have repertoire book available upon request. All sheet music should be in proper key; accompanist will be provided. In addition, please prepare two songs from the RCP repertoire below, and download the sheet music. Bring headshot and resume stapled together. You may be called back to move/dance; bring proper dance shoes & clothes that show your figure/physique.
