Actors needed for Turner Chapel AME Church’s summer theater production, The Manifest, written & directed by Maxine Williams Wright.
Synopsis: Misfortunes are not what they appear to be. When God implements His plan for your life; unforeseen occurrences will happen. The manifestation of God’s plan takes place in the home and church of the Walton’s.
Auditions will be held at Turner Chapel AME Church (address below), and attending an audition is MANDATORY. Please prepare a 90 second monologue and bring a headshot & resume. Auditions are Saturday, March 30th at 1:30pm – 4:00pm and Saturday, April 6th at 1:30pm – 4:00pm.
Show dates are Saturday, July 6th at 6:00pm and Sunday, July 7th at 3:00pm at the Strand Theatre.
Compensation: main cast will receive $75 for two shows, supporting cast will receive $35 for two shows, and no payment for non-speaking roles.
Again, attending an audition is MANDATORY.
