The Village Carolers will be auditioning for spots in its 2019 roster on September 28th from 1pm-4pm, and September 29th from 2pm-6pm. Auditions and rehearsals will be held at Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ.

The Village Carolers is a top-level professional caroling group performing throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. Our primary focus is on the Philadelphia area and New Jersey. We perform in classic Dickensian costumes and sing both Victorian era carols and modern holiday classics.
You must be able to sing in a variety of languages comfortably (mostly Latin, French, and German), and be able to switch between robust classical singing and tight jazz harmonies from one piece to the next. There is no age limit, but you must be able to perform sometimes for multiple hours.
There are 77 pieces in the 2019 book, so we require new singers to have two “catch-up” rehearsals in late October (10/20 and 10/27). Veterans of TVC will join them for two additional rehearsals, then a fifth “testing” rehearsal (singing in quartets) will be held (11/3, 11/10, and 11/17). These rehearsals are unpaid. All performances are paid.
