Red Mountain Theatre Company is hosting an audition in collaboration with Tony Award-winning, New York- based producing partner TBD Theatricals home to TBD Casting, Both TBD and Red Mountain Theatre Company are seeking excellent musical theatre artists for future projects. Please note this request for submissions is open to all actors- however, we are primarily seeking actors of color.
WHEN: July 22-23, 2019 5:00-10:00PM CST – BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
WHERE: Dorothy Jemison Day Theater, 800 19th St N, Birmingham, AL 35203
Please prepare your best 16 bars of a musical theatre selection. An accompanist will be provided; acapella auditions will also be permitted. Please bring your book (other music selections) in the event you are asked to sing anything additional.
We request that you send your headshot and resume to RMTC’s Company Manager, Rachael Pike, rpike@redmountaintheatre.org. Submissions will NOT be accepted after Thursday, July 18th, at 5PM CST.
Please list ‘TBD AUDITION’ in the subject line. You will then be contacted with an assigned time slot. The email containing the assigned time slot will serve as confirmation of your participation in the open call.
Submissions will be reviewed and audition appointments will be assigned up through the Friday prior to the audition. Please do not send multiple emails to RMTC.
